Klimaschule

The Climate School of the Hohe Tauern National Park is an innovative educational programme that aims to raise awareness of climate change mitigation and sustainability among children and children.
young people. Since its inception in 2010, the program has successfully more than 34,000 pupils in the regions of Tyrol, Salzburg and Carinthia and valuable knowledge about environmental protection, renewable energies and the importance of sustainable action.


  • Learning to protect the climate through play

    klima.schule uses mechanisms from computer games in order to share knowledge about the climate and its protection without pointing fingers – just like in climate school sessions held by our rangers. The over-arching objective: Children and young people are enabled to classify their daily decisions in their relevance for climate and climate protection. klima.schule can be visited by individuals, by groups of friends or as part of a school trip.
